Sam Compton
-
Co-Founder, President and
CEO
Sam was born in
Nashville Tennessee, attending various schools including Castle Heights
Military Academy and East Nashville High School.
He served with the U.S.
Army in Germany on the East German border during the Berlin conflict. After
the service, he returned to Nashville in 1963 and resumed working for Sadler
Air Freight driving a delivery truck. In 1965 he worked for Tennessee Speed
Sport as an outside salesman gaining knowledge of racing equipment. From
this he took up a hobby of racing automobiles at the Nashville Speedway and
eventually became the publicity director there from 1967- 68.

Carolyn Compton
- Co-Founder, Secretary and
Treasurer
Carolyn was born and raised
in Wills Point, Texas and graduated from Wills Point high school.
She entered the banking
business at First National Bank in Dallas, Texas worked twelve years in various
positions such as teller, credit manager, and loan management. She worked in
numerous Texas banks moving to Arkansas, Mississippi and eventually to Gallatin,
Tennessee. There she opened a gift shop and after fours years of operation, she
sold it to enter the travel industry.

Sam Gladney -
Co-Founder, V. President,
Director of Administration
Born in 1943, Sam Gladney
was raised on a farm in Eastern Oregon, and a ranch in Northern Texas. After
high school he attended the Air Force Academy and then Portland State University
to earn a degree in Engineering and Design.
Sam moved to California in
1969 and began a business designing interior systems for up-scale homes. In
1973, Sam’s Brother John joined him and founded Gladney Brothers Manufacturing
Corporation, where they designed and manufactured automotive related products,
and marketed them worldwide. Sam left the Corporation in 1982, to follow his
life long dream in Motor sports. Driving race cars had been his passion since
his teens, but his ultimate goal was to win a championship.

Rev. Terry Samples
-
Associate Minister
Rev. Samples was raised in
the Grand Prairie, Texas area and after graduating from Grand Prairie High School,
he attended first the University of Texas, Arlington and went on to the
Arlington Baptist College/Baptist Seminary, Arlington, TX: BDiv-1969, The
Baptist Christian University, Shreveport, LA: MDiv 1990; and Honorary DMin 1992
Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary.
He served as Pastor of the
following churches. Cragfont Baptist Church, Castalian Springs, TN, 9/2000 to
12/2003, Grace Fellowship Church, Nashville, TN 1/1994 to 1/1999, Calvary
Baptist Church, Duncanville, TX 9/ 1986 to 12/1993, Beacon Baptist Church,
Nashville, TN 9/1975 to 1984, and the Calvary Baptist Church, Duncanville 9/1968
to 8/1975.

Charles A. “Chuck” Wilson - Editor in Chief
Chuck retired as a Captain
after 26 years of service in the US Navy. He has an undergraduate degree from
Miami University, Oxford OH; an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania; and has done additional graduate study at Eastern Baptist
Theological Seminary and the University of Georgia. Chuck has been a pilot for
over 35 years and is a Certified Public Accountant in PA and NJ.
In the 1990’s, Chuck was Vice
President of Retail Markets for the Baptist Sunday School Board, now Lifeway
Christian Resources. In this capacity he was responsible for the operation of
the national chain of Baptist Bookstores, and was Publisher/President of
Broadman & Holman Publishers. Currently he is the Chief Executive Officer of
Nashville Wraps, an international distributor of retail packaging supplies.

Dale Duhl -
Director of Creatives
Dale was born in Oak Hill,
Ohio and spent his childhood living in southern Ohio where he attended school
and graduated from Jackson High School.
He began his career in 1970
as a sales Manager for a fortune 500 company, where he developed his marketing
skills in musical production and marketing. From there, he spent the eighties as
both an on-air personality and a general manager of country music and gospel
music radio stations where he earned recognition within the broadcast industry.
